how not to do it....

This is <first_name> <last_name> #<asu_id_number> and I am in you MAT 267 MW @ 3:05. I have a problem with question 6 on Ch 10.1. I don't know what I could've possible got wrong in my equation and I have looked over it multiple times. I would appreciate some feedback if there is something wrong with my answer so I do not make the same mistake on test, however I believe my answer is correct.

OK, here are some things I need you to do differently

1) STOP sending me your asu id. Please see this *very first* blog post.

2) When you want to ask me a question about a webwork problem, please tell me what you *did* do, for instance: A) did you read the section in the book, and did you read the white boards etc? Most difficulties that people experience start with not even know what the words mean. It's not a good use of my time or your time to have me merely repeat what i said in the lecture without you having spent the necessary effort, help me know that you've done your part. B) When I see this I know you've done your part and I can pinpoint the source of your difficulty then give you a boost over the speedbump. This is commonly helpful though.  3) The most common speedbump is simple arithmetic, but people often psych themselves out by confusing poor arithmetic with misunderstanding the concepts.
